WHYS_listener_marcy.jpgI live in the South-eastern part of Michigan, USA and I'm a teacher at a Public High School. I'm also a volunteer with Hope Worldwide of Michigan, I love karate, sewing, reading well written Christian books and museums. I came to enjoy WHYS while listening to NPR in the spring of 2006.

I love the on the spot world tours which WHYS does. Likewise, I enjoy listening to people all over the world discuss their local, regional and world problems. WHYS makes this world seem like a little place with the many topics and issues. The best word for Ros and the team of WHYS is charismatic.

What I would like changed about WHYS is the time slot. I wish it was available a lot earlier or a lot later. During the school year, the 1 - 2 pm time slot isn't always a easy time to listen to the show.

I'm interested in stories which personize people, countries and the different social/status issues anywhere in the world.
