Is too much money being spent on Aids?
It is according to a article. The report suggests that other conditions like diabetes and malaria are being neglected as billions of pounds are being pumped into the global fight against Aids. Do you agree? Does the world focus too much on AIds? If so why? Are celebrities and other influential people too focused on this illness at the expense of others? Let us know what you think.

Some of the world's leaders have signed a new agreement on . This is seen as a step towards replacing the Koyoto agreement. Developing countries and rich nations will both have to meet targets for cutting greenhouse gas emissions. Is this just more talk or does it mark a change in attitudes from those at the top to make a greater commitment to take greater action? Is it a given that everyone now accepts global warming exists and is a real threat? Or are there people out there who still think it's not happening...?

The Venezuelan president, Hugo Chavez, is set to shut down the opposition TV channel this month. Radio Caracas Television will close after Chavez refused to renew the license of the country's 2nd largest TV channel claiming it was aligned to an opposition group & supported a coup attempt against him in 2003. Mr Chavez addressed troops on issue saying he would not tolerate media outlets working to remove him from power.
