Read my earlier post for more details....

You can read emails and text messages here, and of course post your own comments as well.

Paul Minnesota USA
The diplomats negotiating this seem to be hung up on meaningless details. It makes me think they don't really want peace, they seem to want the poor to continue to die so they can continue having power.

PAUL - CANADA
My guess as to what is behind this is the convergence of many things, including the domestic disarray in Israeli politics, the need for the USA to radically change its foreign policy in the Middle East, the need to recognize the potential of Iran as a stabilizing force in the region and the failure of 50 years of continuous war.

Kimberly, California
The Arab peace initiative is a propaganda effort on the part of Saudi Arabia. The Palestinians showed their lack of good faith when Israel withdrew from Gaza.

STEVE - USA
To any palestinian who demands the right of return, there will NEVER be peace. That right of return would destroy Israel, so what would be the purpose of Israel accepting a so-called peace treaty if it will lead to the destruction of Israel?

Kalypso, Vienna, Austria
I think as long as actions are not taken as a consequence, all peace plans are sueless. I just hope, the middle east will have peace in the not too distant future. The US should leave them alone!

Frank
Hope Alan J. will be soon released as well the others recently kidnapped with mr Maostrogiacomo and still missing !

Steve, USA
What about the Jewish refugees from Arab lands? What is fair for them?

Eric from Amsterdam
They have redrown from one side and i think that is enough.

FRANK - CANADA
Regarding possible stumbling blocks to a Peace Plan, how significant is the call for recognition and redress for the 1948 uprooting of Jewish communities in the Middle East and North Africa?

RICK - DETROIT
I can see that peace will never happen in the mid East. There doesn't seem to be any recognition of evidence based standards. There are only conflicting opinions that the holders won't back down.

Martin, Amsterdam
Has William heard of something called International Law??? -

Steve - USA
I'm American and have a US passport and have with an Israeli stamp in it, and I'm prohibited from entering most arab nations because of that stamp.

BRANDON - CLEVLAND
Who attacked who in 1967? Israel occupies those lands for their own security. Even if arab governments acknowledge israel's existence, the radicals who blow themselves up will not.

Tofa, Nigeria.
I think Israel and palestine/Arabs should give peace a chance. What happened to concessions?

Ado.
It is the sincere hope of all peace-loving people that the world's longest running conflict should come to an end.

ANON
Peace, peace peace everywhere, no more shelling of Israel No more suspicion Go back to pre 67 borders.

Sam in Malawi
Israel, don't give back the land. I think you are too vulnerable but thank Jehovah you are powerful enough. Your land is holy, stay there 4eva.

Bjaq Moses in Minna, NIGERIA.
Israel was established on lies fast catching up with them. Palestinian refugees must return to their homes.
