The Trolls of the Blogosphere

Paul Coletti | 15:46 UK time, Thursday, 29 March 2007

Kathy Sierra is a blogger in the US. She's frightened to go out. Click to the pic to hear why . . .

Andy Carvin was so shocked he's come up with a tomorrow March 30th. We'll be hearing from Andy on tonight's show . . . read on for more details.

Kathy Sierra was a respected IT author and online blogger - she wasn't into politics nor religion - but was targeted by some pretty creepy cyber abuse. If you're not familiar with the story then you can read the post in which she described the abuse she received .

We hope to speak to Kathy at some point in the near future - if not tonight then maybe tomorrow - but for obvious reasons (read the link above) she's keeping a low profile.

Web Buddha Tim O'Reilly has called for a blogger . It's a subject close to our hearts here at WHYS where the blogosphere informs what we do to a certain extent.

It's just one of the topics we'll be debating tonight so if you've an online presence in any form - blog, myspace, facebook, embarassing item in google's cache that you just can't get rid of - then please let us know. Phone us tonight.
