vuvuzelaafp.jpgOur colleagues at ´óÏó´«Ã½ News have published a guide for England fans following the World Cup - with advice on how to throw "."

Meanwhile the World Cup Have Your Say team in South Africa are making their preparations for the show's launch party on Thursday - live on air at 1700GMT.

There will doubtless be millions of get-togethers planned - although clearly not all will last until July 11, no matter .

Key things include the venue, the food and the vibe, according to Sophie Saiman of a party planning company. She explains,

The football is the main draw, but events organisers recommend having other activities on hand to bring excitement should it be lacking in the game. Computer football games on the big screen can kill off pre-match nerves; funfair-style target practice in a garden goal is a low tech option; try a table football or Subbuteo tournament if space is more limited

But we'd love to know what parties you have planned for the tournament where you are.

Whether it's a few mates over for a South African themed barbecue or a full-on street party with half the people in your town invited, we'd love to hear what you're up to.

And if you'll let us, we'd even like to join you on air. Let us know what you're doing and we'll get in touch - and give you a call on the day, so you can share the atmosphere across the globe.
