Independence for Kosovo - what a mistake! Every ethnic majority within a nation is planning its independence today. It isn't just Russia, Spain. Cyprus, Greece that face separatists. For years there have been rumblings among the majority population of Mexicans in Texas (it did belong to Mexico once). This sets a terrible precedent. Another enormous Foreign Policy blunder and the US is to blame - what a surprise.

Then Serbia was devastated by the Austro-Hungarian Empire during 1914-1918, and a third of its population was masacred.
Yugoslavia was created anter WWI but when the Nazi invaded it in 1941, Kosovo Albanians formed their own cutthroat SS division Skender Beg, which killed, raped and expelled hudreds od thousands of Serbs, and that is how they became a majority in Sebian province of Kosovo.
Then the amoral draft dodger, Bill Clinton , who desecrated America with his squalid behaior, launched a high altitude bombing "humanitarian" war against Serba, armed and trained the KLA, an Albanian terrorist organization, and killed thousands of Serbian civilians.
Serbia was America's ally in two world wars and did not imperil America's national interets, but our elites and politicians were bought with the Albanian drug money and have betrayed everything for which America stands.
Several empires that attacked Serbia came crashing down in ruin, and let us hope that America will soon wake up, and not follow their path and suffer the same fate.
