Barack Obama: still President of the world?

You may remember that before the US presidential election in November 2008, it was often said that if the whole world had a vote, Barack Obama would win by a landslide.

Eighteen months later, does the same still apply? According to a fascinating by the Pew Research Center, "Some of the international enthusiasm that greeted Barack Obama's arrival in the White House may have waned but he remains broadly popular across much of the world."
