What was Britain from Above and how can I see it?
It was a series for the ´óÏó´«Ã½ happening on television, online with an accompanying book and DVD. Britain from Above aired for 3 weeks from Sunday August 10. You can view all the clips on this website in the Stories section.
What's happening online?
This site features all the content from the series as short films in the Stories section. There is also exclusive video for the web in the Rewinds section and Behind the Scenes. You can also see more aerial images by going to Photography.
Is there anything else happening around the ´óÏó´«Ã½?

Is there a companion book?
Yes Britain from Above by Ian Harrison is a hardback book featuring a foreword by Andrew Marr and photography by Jason Hawkes.

I can't watch the video
You will need to the latest version of Flash in order to see the short video clips on the site. Or you can watch the complete episodes for one week after transmission on the .
Can I embed video from this site on my website or blog?
Yes you can. Just go to the video player and click on the "Share" button on the bottom right and select embed. First read the of doing this and then copy the code much as you would do with other video sharing sites.
Can I get a DVD/video of one of the programmes?
The series is being released on DVD and will be available from September 2008.
How can I view a programme for research/educational purposes?
If you are linked to an educational organisation please arrange for them to email bbcstudies@bbc.co.uk and purchase a license for an available title. Please note this service does not sell directly to individuals.
