Peterborough United

Manager Darren Ferguson says Tuesday's trip to Wrexham should not be treated as grudge match.听

Posh's match against Ferguson's former club ended with ill feeling under three weeks ago after 'keeper Joe Lewis was stretchered off following a late challenge from a Wrexham defender.听

However the Posh boss insists his side must focus on their own game and not get dragged into a scrappy match.

Cambridge United

Defender Wayne Hatswell has told U's fans to expect more goals from him after his blistering 40 yard strike set the U's on the way to a 2-nil win over Forest Green on Saturday.

There are just 14 matches left to play this season and hopes of winning the title may seem unlikely.听 But despite losing Scott Rendell to Posh last week, the U's manager Jimmy Quinn believes his team building over the last couple of months has given his side all the qualities they need to push their rivals to the bitter end.

United are currently third in the Conference Premier, ten points behind leaders Aldershot.

Histon

Boss Steve Fallon has told his side that home form will be key in deciding their finishing position in the Conference Premier this season.

The Stutes, who play Stafford at the Glass World on Tuesday night, have been more impressive on the road than they have on their own patch so far this season, but Fallon is hoping the home victory over York ten days ago can be the catalyst for an upturn in form.

Only five of the Stutes last fifteen games are on the road, so Fallon says its time his men made the Glass World a fearsome place to visit.

Cambridge City

Defender Dave Theobald says the pressure of playing for their futures is 'bringing out the best' in Cambridge City ahead of tonight's Cambs Invitation Cup semi-final at Mildenhall.

However the skipper expects a difficult tie this evening, with the Ridgeons' League side likely to relish their role as underdogs - just as the Lilywhites did in Saturday's 1-0 win at Conference South leaders Eastbourne.

Cambridge Rugby Club

Cambridge travel to Blaydon next weekend looking to make it five wins on the bounce in National Two.

Their fourth in a row came in a nail-biting contest at Wests Renault Park on Saturday.

Cambridge won by a single point, 33-32 the final scoreline, but the city side needed a stoppage time try by Phil Reed to secure the win.

Peterborough Phantoms

Phantoms head coach Phil David says any frustration he may feel at his side's increasingly congested fixture list is outweighed by the prospect of making the Knock Out Cup final.

The Phantoms play seven matches over the next fourteen days, including the away leg of their Knock Out cup semi-final against Sheffield on Tuesday night, but David says that whilst he does have certain concerns, overall he is looking forward to the challenge.

Cambridgeshire County Cricket

Damian Brandy is standing down as Cambridgeshire's cricket captain due to increased work commitments, however the former Leicestershire all rounder will still make himself available for selection should work permit .

Wisbech Town skipper Gary Freear is expected to take over as the county captain.
