From castles to skyscrapers, office blocks to cathedrals, sheds to beach huts; the buildings around us shape the way we live our lives.Ìý The ´óÏó´«Ã½ needs your help to celebrate the range of wonderful buildings we have in Britain. The ´óÏó´«Ã½ Bus comes to Ely Cathedral To accompany David Dimbleby’s ´óÏó´«Ã½ One series, How We Built Britain (the first episode of which focused on the architectural splendour of Ely Cathedral) a state-of-the art ´óÏó´«Ã½ Bus will visit the cathedral on Sunday 10th June and act as a photo ‘drop off point’ and gallery for your snaps of any building in the UK.Ìý We want you to bring your digital photos or shots on a camera phone to the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Bus – and we can help you upload your images on to the web.Ìý These photos will form part of a wonderful photographic archive of British architecture over the centuries. We are looking for photos of all kinds of buildings;
- The new house at the bottom of the road with a quirky roof - The shop with the interesting door you pass on the way to work - A local church that has stood the test of time If it means something to you - take a picture and get involved! Get some top tips from top photographers! Top photographers Tom Ang, from the ´óÏó´«Ã½ 4 series Britain in Pictures, and Sian Bonnell, will be running FREE photography master classes, and there will also be some fun camera activities for all the family.
