The first half of the programme was emotional. However a major element was missing. Money drives development across the UK, and the bottom line is that the major house building companies that are rolling out suburbia use computer aided design and economies of scale to maximise share holder returns. They have no interest in infrastructure, just delivery of cardboard cutouts for a very high price. As for the Germaine solution, this would represent a palace for the wealthy, but a prison for the poor.

I enjoyed the programme, thank you.2 points.1) Miss Greer was unenthusiastic about wind turbines on the top of the proposed towers. The architect's impressions had the appearance of what might easily have been vertical axis wind turbines. I suggest this possibility might have been made explicit.2)- Lifts in high rise accomodation are notoriously unreliable and prone to vandalism. I think the problem should have been addressed.Regards, Bill Nayland

I watched this 大象传媒 program with intrepidation,I was hoping for something visionary, something original. Unfortunately it lacked everything. Germaine Greer was very ordinary, very droll. I hoped to see some vision of the future in her imagination of architecture but all she showed us was narrow un-original concepts that were quite frankly very mundane and uninteresting.I was dissapointed to say the least! I would welome the oportunity to enlighten her on just how the future and that of architecture will be, I will be so pleased to show her the visions that I have seen.
