How to get a Blue Peter Green badge

Are you passionate about nature and the environment? Have you done something to help protect our planet, or encouraged other to help? Then maybe it's time to earn your Blue Peter Green badge.

Green badge application

To earn a Green badge you must:

  • Be between 5 – 15 years old.

  • Ask your parent or guardian for permission to apply and ask them to read the Privacy Notice.

  • Get your parent or guardian to help you fill out your form and personal details.

  • Answer our super-sustainability questions to tell us what you do to protect the environment and why being green is important to you.

  • Include a photo or video of yourself taking part in a green activity or create some artwork inspired by the environment, conservation or nature.

  • If you’d rather apply by post, you can send in a piece of work with an environmental or conservational theme to earn your Green badge.

  • If applying by post, send your application with the correct postage to: Blue Peter, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Bridge House, MediaCityUK, Salford, M50 2BH
