Lunar New Year 2025 begins on Tuesday 29th January and we've got some big celebrations planned on Blue Peter, but we want to know how you guys are celebrating at home as well! Look out for cool things to make and amazing performances focusing on the year of the snake!

Lunar New Year is a celebration that takes places over two weeks. It begins with the first new moon of the Lunar calendar and ends with the first full moon. It is marked by communities of people all over the world.

Are you planning on going big with the decorations this year and making your own paper lanterns? Will you be meeting up with your family and having the biggest tastiest Lunar New Year feast imaginable? Or perhaps you will be watching a spectacular fireworks display with your friends!
