The BP badge is a special symbol, recognised across the UK as a great honour awarded to amazing people and awesome Blue Peter viewers. Blue Peter are giving you the chance to become a BP VIP (Blue Peter Very Important Person 😉), which will bring exciting opportunities and amazing experiences!

Maya, 9, is our latest BP VIP!! With her super stylish footie skills, playing for Leicester City FC and her love for Match of the Day, Blue Peter thought it would be a magical experience for Maya to become a BP VIP! She was surprised with an exclusive behind the scenes experience of Match of the Day and to meet Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer.

Getting her camera ready, Maya took a seat in the make-up chair before sneaking into the studio. She had a look around the set, took a cheeky seat on Gary Lineker’s chair and had a go at presenting… watch this space Gary!

To top off her experience, Match of the Day used their super cool technology and editing skills to analyse some of Maya’s game play like they would do with the professional games you see on the telly!

What an incredible day for Maya, one to always remember!

To become a BP VIP all you have to do is apply for a Blue Peter badge!

On the application form you’ll see the BP VIP section where we’ll ask you if you want to appear on the show. You’ll need to tell us your dream experience and how we can make it happen for you.
