Spooky Pumpkin Pie
Your tastebuds will be tingling with this frightfully good spooky pumpkin pie recipe! Your friends will shriek in delight when you give them a pie to eat!
- 350g chopped pumpkin
- 50g light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 陆 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 陆 tsp ginger
- 1 tbsp icing sugar
- 1 egg
- 15g melted butter
- 75ml milk
- Pre-rolled shortcrust pastry

Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 175 degrees centigrade.
Wash and grease a cupcake tin tray.
Flour your surface and roll pastry to the thickness of a 拢1 coin.
Fit pastry into the tin and gently press down to fit in, then cut excess pastry from the top.
Chill pastry for 15 minutes.
Lay greaseproof paper on top of your pastry, then fill with rice.
Blind bake for 5-10 minutes until it is pale golden.
Remove rice and bake for a further 5 minutes or until golden.
Preparing the pumpkin mixture

Add the pumpkin, icing sugar, egg, butter, milk and all the seasoning to a blender or mixing bowl and then mix together.

Bringing it together
Pour mixture into pastry bases.
Bake for 30-45 minutes or until set.
Let it cool completely.
Decorate.

Decoration ideas
Use marshmallows and black icing for a spooky skull or a ghost.
Use white icing to pipe a spider鈥檚 web then black icing to pipe a spider.
Melt white chocolate and then dip the pies into three bowls containing white, green and purple edible sparkles.
