Instructions

Step 1: Take flour and oats, mix with sugar and butter, cinnamon and ginger in a bowl with your fingers tips. The mix should have the consistency of breadcrumbs or crumble!

Step 3: Set a timer for 10 minutes and ask your grown-up to stir the mix halfway through.

Step 4: Meanwhile draw an eye to go under the over proof dish.聽

Step 5: Add the apple wedges and brown sugar to the dish.聽

Step 6: Squeeze lemon juice onto the apples.

Step 7: Add custard on top of the apples, sugar and lemon juice.

Step 8: Ask your grown-up to take the tray from the oven once the crumble is ready and allow to cool a little.

Step 9: Sprinkle the crumble on top of the custard.

Step 10: Take the tin foil and cut into strips to make eyelashes and eyelids. Pinch the foil closed (like an eyelid).
