Gran Gran Plan: Sock Puppet Show
It's time for a Gran Gran Plan! Try making your own puppet from old socks, then put on a sock puppet show for friends and family.
You will need
- Old or odd socks
- Cardboard boxes from recycling
- Googley eyes
- Pens
- Scrap materials e.g. felt
- Paint to decorate theatre stage (optional)
Gran Gran Plan
Ask a grown-up to help find some old or odd socks. These will be the base for your sock puppets.
Use googley eyes, pens and scrap materials to make your sock puppets. You can also use toys!
Use old cardboard boxes from recycling to create a puppet theatre to hide behind when performing. Ask your grown-up to help cut out a window for the stage.
Set up the stage and seating area for your audience.聽
Practice, practice, practice!
Once your audience is seated, you can start the show.聽
