Dowie Takes Over 道伊接管
Coventry City have announced that Iain Dowie is their new manager.
Dowie has been out of work 没工作 since leaving Charlton in November after just 12 league games in charge 主管.
Adrian Heath was leading the team in a caretaker role 看管者的角色 since the previous manager was sacked 解雇 on 17 January. He left the club on Sunday after Coventry's 3-0 defeat to Leicester.
Heath said he was disappointed to learn of Dowie's appointment 任命 in the media.

He indicated that the club management must have made the decision carefully and the club need a period of stability to be successful.

Dowie seemed to be in demand 抢手 as he was also involved in talks with Leicester.
He chose to accept Coventry's offer of the job even though he also thought Leicester was "on the up" 呈上升趋势 which means they are having success at the moment.
Dowie's first test as Coventry's manager will be Tuesday's home game with Southampton.
