大象传媒 Creator Lab is returning with a new opportunity for social and digital creators open for applications from early December.
大象传媒 Creator Lab is our scheme to find the next generation of digital and social creators who can grow their careers on-screen with the 大象传媒.
This year, 大象传媒 Sport and 大象传媒 Creator Lab are launching a search to find a new 大象传媒 football contributor who could appear on shows like Football Focus, Final Score and 5 Live Sport as well as on 大象传媒 digital outlets.
In collaboration with TikTok, we鈥檒l invite standout football creators to feature in a competition series to be broadcasted across the 大象传媒, with the winner landing a prestigious role contributing across the 大象传媒 Sport鈥檚 portfolio of shows.
The series will be released on 大象传媒 iPlayer during summer 2025 and viewers will be able to follow every twist and turn on Radio 1. It will also be promoted across 大象传媒 Sport, 大象传媒 Radio 1 and 大象传媒 socials.
We are looking for talented football obsessives who are as comfortable explaining the latest tactical innovations to fan culture to interviewing top players.
All shortlisted candidates will have an on-screen opportunity as well as receiving training and up-skilling as part of the scheme.
After completion of the series, the competition winner will be also offered a paid opportunity as a 大象传媒 Sport contributor.
The window for applications will open in December 2024 and full details will be available on this page in the coming weeks.
About 大象传媒 Creator Lab
大象传媒 Creator Lab is a first of its kind talent discovery scheme. Launched in 2023 in collaboration with TikTok, its goal is finding the UK鈥檚 most exciting social media creators and turbo-charging their careers.
In its first year the program offered up to 100 creators a two-day in-person development experience. Participants had the opportunity to meet with 大象传媒 commissioners and producers from our top network shows for a potential guest slot or segment, work on a 大象传媒 social content brief and receive training and masterclasses from TikTok.
We asked creators to bring brilliant new ideas and creativity that would appeal to Gen Z, Alpha and millennial audiences and demonstrate a track record of, or genuine interest in, creating social or digital content around one or more of our key subject areas.
The initiative focused on various content areas including UK nature, coking and mixology, entertainment, children鈥檚 content, football and sport.
