A viewer complained that a report on weather conditions in the US had incorrectly 鈥渁sserted record cold weather now being experienced by North America is an effect of Global Warming鈥.聽 The ECU considered the complaint in the light of the 大象传媒鈥檚 editorial standards of accuracy.
Outcome
Neither the report in question nor the newsreader鈥檚 introduction to it included such an assertion, and the complaint did not identify any breach of the 大象传媒鈥檚 standards of accuracy.
