Complaint
A listener complained about two interviews conducted by Mishal Husain, one with the Defence Secretary and the other with Lord Darroch, on the basis that Ms Husain鈥檚 line of questioning reflected bias against the Israeli position in the current conflict. 听The ECU considered the complaint in the light of the 大象传媒鈥檚 editorial standards of impartiality.
Outcome
In the ECU鈥檚 judgement, Ms Husain鈥檚 questioning in both cases reflected only the responsibility of 大象传媒 interviewers to subject the views and arguments put forward by interviewees to appropriate challenge, and provided no grounds for imputing bias to her.
