Complaint
A listener complained that a comment which had been included in the original broadcast version of the programme had apparently been edited out of the Sounds version, rendering it an inaccurate representation of what had been broadcast.
Outcome
The ECU did not consider the complaint in fact raised an issue in relation to the 大象传媒鈥檚 editorial standards of accuracy, as there is no presumption that what appears on the 大象传媒鈥檚 on-demand services will necessarily be an exact reproduction of what was broadcast, and there are many reasons why editing may be appropriate.聽 In this instance, the edit had been made for legitimate editorial reasons.
