Surf FeaturesYou are in: Cornwall > Surfing & extreme sports > Surf Features > Tour's End Tour's EndTassy Swallow from Cornwall has spent the last month training in the beautiful Hawaiian islands. She's witnessed some of the best female surfers in competition, surfed some of the best waves around, and kept a blog for the 大象传媒 Cornwall website. Monday 17 November 2008With the end of our trip drawing near, and just three days to go (including today), everyone is surfing as hard as they can trying to squeeze in the last remaining benefits they can, before heading home to wet and windy England. Beth's stitches in her leg are starting to look not so gammy and should be ready to come out by the time we get home this Friday. Tassy Swallow in action No one is sunburnt anymore and we are all just frantically trying to soak up the last rays of sun we can for an awesome tan...Hawaiian style. For the last two weeks we have had such bad weather for Hawaii! Yes, it's been boiling but where's the sun been? Ever since Sharpy (the photographer) arrived he hasn't been able to shoot because of the persistent rain showers and grey cloud, as well as the light crosshore winds which aren't usually present on the North Shore. Nevertheless, we are having a great time still and are thankful we're not at home whilst weather warnings are being given out.
