Emma, Rachel and Shareen
Emma, Rachel and Shareen from Creations Hair Salon in Truro

Voices
Voices explores our rich colourful language and examines its many colloquialisms, all from a local perspective.

Nina Davey visited Creations Hair Salon in Truro to meet Rachel, Shareen and Emma.

Emma, Rachel and Shareen are fun loving girls who look out for each other.

Shareen
Shareen

Shareen is the most outspoken. It was Shareen who got the girls together to talk to the 大象传媒. She encourages the others to join in and is interested in what they have to say.

They agree they all speak differently when working.

Rachel
Rachel

Rachel is the quietest of the trio of friends and follows the ongoing conversation with delight.

Emma
Emma

Emma isn't Cornish but has picked up the lingo. What a man calls his girlfriend sparked a good conversation. Thingummy what's his tuss? Lots of finger clicking to show you have forgotten a name. All the girls agree there is a standard form for something you can't remember.
