After working as an electrician for almost 40 years, Leamington-born Gez Cox traded in plugs for paint brushes.
He was bored of fitting plug sockets in factories and offices and when his wife bought him a small watercolour paint set as a present, back in 1995, he realised he had a hidden talent.

Now, at the age of 55, he's taking the art world by storm with his watercolours of Warwickshire scenes.
He has given up being an electrician and now paints watercolours for a living full-time, selling paintings for 拢200-拢800.

Gez first started painting as a hobby in 1995 and was elected into the Society of Graphic Fine Artists within two years.
He was still working as an electrician, painting in his spare time, until 2000. Then he took the plunge and became a full-time painter.
