The web-based exhibition features photos, paintings, stage designs, prompt books and other records from the RSC's productions.
The New Opportunities Fund has helped get the project off the ground as the company attempts to bring its work to students, scholars, theater-goers and anybody interested in Shakespeare, his plays and other works.
Among the plays featured are recent productions like The Malcontent starring Anthony Sher, Eastward Ho!, and The Roman Actor and they stand alongside the classics.
Of course, centre stage is granted to plays like Hamlet, which has been produced ten times by the RSC since it was formed in 1961.
Featured is a precis of the plot, a list of characters and a look back at some of the most famous productions, including the one from 1992, which starred Kenneth Branagh.
The same treatment is on offer for other works, like Tewlfth Night and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
