The Pump Rooms exhibition focuses on three series of paintings and drawings from the 70s to the 90s. These are titled World War 1, the Irish works and Enola Gay.
The paintings and drawings came out of his long-standing interest in politics, philosophy and the relationship between art theory and practice.
The exhibition in April will be the first time many of the works have been exhibited and will be the first time a select retrospective has been shown in Atkinson's home town of Leamington.
