 |  | Coventry is holding the fifth annual Godiva Festival, a week-long series of events to mark the impact Lady Godiva had on the city by bringing people together for some serious celebrations.
As well as marking the world's most famous naked lady, the city commemorated its heritage in the week of events, which are aimed at the whole family.
This is a free festival which featured three stages of live music with the historic Godiva Procession on Saturday.
On Sunday there was the Godiva Historic Car Run, family and children's entertainment, The Lives & Times history fair, The Greenspace environment area, a fairground, craft stalls and a wide choice of food and a fully licenced bar.
New this year on the Sunday was a mediaeval jousting performance.
One of the biggest celebrations happened on Golden Jubilee day, Monday June 3.

The week kicked off on Saturday June 1 with the Godiva Street Festival. This featured a host of live performers taking their acts onto the streets of the city centre to entertain passers by. Read about this by following the Jubilee Celebrations link on the left.

The climax of the party was on Friday June 7 when Godiva Weekend beginned. It brought three days of activities together and was centred around the War Memorial Park in the city.
The park was taken over by a host of tents and arenas which provided entertainment for the family.
Music included the best of rock, pop and dance on the Colosseum Phoenix Stage, the Rhythm Tent, which hosted Asian underground and jazz and the Saga FM tent, which will be home to - among others - Showaddywaddy!
The Arena was home to a host of family entertainment, from the Devil's Horsemen to falconry displays and sheep dog trials.
听This years Godiva Procession took place on Saturday 8 June and featured four scenes from the city's history with a Golden Jubilee theme.

The organisers CV One have been given more than 拢11,000 from the National Lottery to pay for costumes.
The events that will be re-enacted include Queen Isabella and the Black Prince, The Gunpowder Plot, the Civil War and the War of the Roses.
The procession started at the cathedral ruins at 11am and ended in Memorial Park where the main festival took place.
听The car run, which is in its fifth year, saw a number of historic and interesting vehicles - many of which were built in Coventry - in procession around the city and parts of Warwickshire.
