The HND Media students at Henley College in Coventry have been busy over the past year working on their audio and video projects as part of their coursework for their HND in Media Production.

Some of the students, like Dean Reilly and Fred McCann (pictured right) have been filming the local area and have created a series of interviews with people in and around Wood End.
They want to change people's perceptions of the area and give the community a voice.

The students on the course have been working on an audio project, which focuses on interviews with local residents in Wood End.
Linked on the left we have two pieces by Dean Reilly. One is a collection of opinions from people in Coventry City Centre and the other is a fascinating insight into one woman's life story, called Angela.

Craig Goode said: "I am conducting a series of interviews with a 78-year-old resident based in Wood End.
"She is very involved with the local community and attends the Wood End Community Centre regularly."
听Pratiksha Khatiwala said: "I will be conducting a series of interviews with a lady called Gwen.
"She has been living in Wood End for 70 years. She is a regular visitor of the Wood End Community Centre."
听Fred McCann: "I am making a documentary on Wood End and also carrying out audio interviews which will incorporate still shots."
听Dean Reilly said: "I am working on an oral history project, involving multiple interviews with residents of the Wehm area. I will be incorporating audio with still photographic images."
