Magic Roundabout was created in 1965 and featured a rather off-the-wall cast. Dougal, a shaggy dog who ate only sugar; an eccentric bouncing character called Zebedee; Dylan the rabbit; Ermintrude the pink cow, Florence and Brian the snail.
