Till the Blood Runs Clear
By Doug Hayes, Jr
Directed by Tony Tiles

REVIEW
Getting Crichton and Aeryn down to the planet instead of just fixing the ship on Moya felt a bit forced, but, once they were down there this became another clever escalation of danger for most of the characters. The desert setting also gave the episode an oddly epic feel and coupled to some very impressive designs for the town, you could easily imagine this being a film instead of a weekly series.

Engineer Furlow was a little irritatingly repetitive - one time literally, as a piece of footage with her was shown twice - and it was distracting how she made references to 20th Century Earth culture when Crichton wasn't around. Logically it could be a deliberate attempt to make us wonder about her origins but being practical it's just a goof.

It'll be interesting to see whether Crichton and D'Argo's new-found alliance continues. Crichton didn't really say anything to D'Argo that he hasn't often said, but it worked this time.

back to ploton to did you notice?
