People are often telling James that he is so much like his mum. However he doesn't know what this means because he has no memories of her. All he has are photos and other peoples' memories.

He says that the grief never goes away and wonders whether he'd be the same person if she hadn't died.

One positive thing that has come out of the tragedy is the bond between him and his father. In his own words ... 'He's awesome'.
