About the Show
Dancing on Wheels features six couples competing against one another for a place at the Wheelchair Dance Sport European Championships.
Featuring combi style dancing, one wheelchair dancer is paired with an able bodied celebrity to perform a new dance routine each week choreographed by experts Brian Fortuna and Kristina Rihanoff.
After watching the dances of all our couples our three judges will adjourn to consider which two couples they consider to be the weakest on the basis of that week's performance.
If our judges can't agree, then James Jordan, as lead judge, will make the final decision.
Once identified, the bottom two couples will be asked to dance again. After this "dance-off" each judge has one vote to cast in favour of the couple who best deserves a continued place in the competition.
If someone falls out of their chair or suffers an extreme technical fault, then the judges will offer the affected couple the option of either being marked on the routine so far or alternatively the chance to dance again.
If someone is injured and incapable of dancing in that week's competition then unfortunately they will be asked to leave the competition immediately.
There will be no good byes in any circumstances.
If an injured contestant wants to carry on, we will be governed by medical advice and not simply their desire to stay.
In such circumstances we would offer a chance to the most recently eliminated couple to come back into the competition.

Tune in on Thursday 11th February at 9pm.
