Last Friday saw the three of us (me, best buddy & brother, aka the ‘My Interesting Fact’ team) go to Q Arts after a tip-off from my mentor (cheers Gavin!) about the place often hosting exhibitions. As it was, the place was a good day out for us and I was glad the other two enjoyed it as well. The highlight was TAG, but we wanted to steal the Fluffy Tamagotchi from its glass prison, for its own welfare. I've been searching for new stories for 'a good while' now, shall we say. There's a few things happening and luckily I'm already taking a proactive stance to next week with another band interview, this time with 'Hallowed' - I've only heard their stuff through the web but it’s all good, so it should be nice to meet them in person.

Ah – and for those that care, my A level results were happily what I needed to get into my first choice of university. An A in English Language & Literature, A in Media Studies and C in Drama made up for the four weeks of horror that took us from May into June. The arrival of the Q Arts feature (which was Today’s Top Feature on the Derby homepage – yay) meant I finally had to remove something from my Blast Index. Dear Diary 1 sadly bit the proverbial dust and if this lull of action ends sometime soon (oh and it will!) then more stuff will have to come off. |
