John, from Ripley, says he thinks he was born to film wildlife - and he's had a go at capturing a whole host of creatures on video in Derbyshire and beyond.

The mischievous weasel

On this occasion he's out in search of the elusive weasel. It doesn't seem to take him to long to track one down - but once he's found his subject, the little blighter skips around at lightning speed. And that makes John's job so much harder!

However, John has a trick up his sleeve and once his covert tactics are employed the furry being becomes so much easier to film and, in fact, John has the last laugh!
