Each week he's joined by Kirstin Neilson-Hunter to present the Sunday Request Show and add his own observations of the countryside. Do you know someone who is celebrating a special occasion? Maybe it鈥檚 a birthday or a wedding anniversary, an exam result or retirement. Perhaps just someone who deserves a dedication on the radio for being a great person. Kirstin with Tony Beard Each Sunday at noon, Tony is joined by Kirstin Neilson-Hunter on The Sunday Request Show to play your requests and read your dedications. The choice of music is up to you. It could be Frank or Robbie, Eartha听 or Kylie. And if it's a song that has a special place in your heart, Tony and Kirstin want to know about it. Studio webcamTake a look at the Radio Devon webcams:
The Wag From WidecombeTony is a keen preserver of Devon life and culture who has also made several albums of his own, many of which seem to find their way into his "must play this sometime" box which he brings along with him on a Sunday to the Radio Devon studios. Tony spent many happy years as a farmer. Tony has retired from farming. He loves the moors and also appears on Kirstin's Saturday Lunchtime show when he introduces Kev Hutchings to some of the countryside traditions and the characters who live and work on the moors in his 'Dartmoor Diary'. Just like Kirstin, Tony's always happy to let everyone know about your special event too. If you're planning a coffee morning for charity or a jumble sale in your parish hall, let them know so they can tell the rest of the county.
