I'm a great fan of Espers, and it doesn't really bother me that I can't understand what the songs are about most of the time ... but there is one song that is bugging me because so far I don't think I've been able to decipher a single word, and the title is no help either.

So, is there anyone out there who has any idea what "Mansfield and Cyclops" is about?

I don't know the answer to this one...am looking forward to their upcoming tour with Cave Singers and Woods though...

That track is certainly one of their more incomprehensible ones. Gorgeous though. Sadly they don't put the lyrics on either their myspace or offical website. Nor did I see any on the 'send us what you think they're singing' sites. I only have downloads, so I have no idea if they put them on the inlays. With them I'm guessing not...

No lyrics on the cd - possibly due to the type of sleeve they use on most of their releases...

You could ask them on their my space page...though I quite like not knowing lyrics. REM's Murmur seemed less exciting when transcriptions of the lyrics appeared in that 33 1/3 book on it...
