In the early nineties, my mother heard a track played on John Peel's Radio 1 show. Apparently Peel was pretty keen on it and played it frequently for a while. It was by two boys of about 10, and called Lee Hates Babysitters. She thinks it was just drums and vox, with the lyrics:
"Babysitters, Babysitters
Babysitters, Babysitters
Babysitters, Babysitters
Lee
Hates
Baby-
Sitters!"
I haven't been able to find any references to this track anywhere, presumably it is still languishing in the ´óÏó´«Ã½ archives somewhere.
If anyone has any information/memories of this track, I would be delighted to know!
Hi Elspeth. Believe it or not that was a very youthful Adamski. Many people think he peaked early.
The band was called The Stupid Babies and the song is Babysitters.
