A bit of an obvious choice for LP of the week since it's the most celebrated Fall LP and has been since the first reissues around 2000 (Unsung classic in Uncut etc). It was even selected as a guest choice by Paul Farley for Radio 4's Saturday Review a few years ago. The last time a Fall LP was selected it was Bend Sinister, which seems too tuneful and popular; shouldn't we have the odder side of MES/whoever was in the band that week? I'd pick The Unutterable, Slates, Room to Live, Dragnet, In the Palace of Swords Reversed, Perverted by Language or Grotesque (after the gramme).

Hex is a great LP - I already have three copies (LP, 1st cd reissue, deluxe reissue) and a bunch of that material on a tape and cd of Hip Priests & Kamerads...

Perhaps The Fall shouldn't have another LP of the week for a few years ; has 'The Greatest Hit (Money Mountain)' by The Blue Orchids been selected yet? That's as good as Hex and has some great psychedelic moments too. I'd pick the following three/four tracks from it: 'A Year with No Head', 'Dumb Magician', 'Bad Education', & 'Sun Connection.'

Idle Kuriosity here, does anyone know how the censoring was done? Seems to me that whole lines of vocals were removed while leaving the music intact. How's that done, then?
