Great to hear you've got Gerard on the show tonight. I was a lapsed Blue Aeroplanes fan, having only recently caught up with their newer work. When I used to go and see live bands a lot in the early 90's they were as good as anybody out there. In a parallel universe somewhere they did become the biggest band in the world.

An inane question. Who has had more members - the Blue Aeroplanes or the Fall? And has anybody been in both?

A slightly less inane one would be whether there were any plans for a Deluxe version of 'Beatsongs' similar to what was done for 'Swagger'. Thanks.

It's wonderfully reassuring to us elderly folk to know that Mr Langley is still with us 20 years after the marvellous Swagger.

Everyone should be able to quote a Blue Aeroplanes lyric... it should be curriculum, like reciting Young Ones scripts. She should go out more. And he should show more tolerance. Or is it he, she? Damn. Pick a card. Any card. Wrong!
