Not very popular is it? hardly worth the bother, stagnant sterile uninvolving unmoving dormant boredom
I think it's ticking over. Thanks in no small part to your continued efforts.
But there are of other ways to contact the programme. And they're busy. Sometimes too busy to keep up with. Sometimes not. As it should be.
well that provides clarification then
Good.
Bodgg,
I, for one, am really looking forward to some enriching insights from yourself.
And, thrillingly, anticipating your next creative steps in the use of the comma.
Now do you think there are any Trailer Bride fans out there in Coeland ?
I think their ' Porch Song ' ( Smelling Salts cd, Bloodshot ) is an absolute cracker !
Hello,
Could somebody please help me?
I'm trying to find a certain "How High The Moon" version by Benny Goodman which is playing at time code 11:40 in the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Scotland documentary on Rosamunde Pilcher which is part of the bonus material on the DVD "Coming Home" (it's 27 minutes long and from 1997).
I asked in several Benny Goodman message boards that I found online, but nobody was able to help me.
Finally I sent an e-mail to ´óÏó´«Ã½, but am not sure they will answer (most TV stations don't answer e-mails from their audience).
I own lots of Benny Goodman CD's, but this version is not among my collection. I tried to find it in our public library, at amazon.com, in iTunes etc...to no avail.
Would be very thankful if somebody could help me (I can play the song on the phone, because I have the DVD "Coming Home" and the bonus material).
Thanks in advance,
Chrissie
Hello Chrissie,
Welcome to the old country ... now can you say, hum or whistle the ways in which the documentary version of ' How high ' differs from the ones you've got ?
While doing that you could look lovingly at my dog Jim's beach :: search images : Porth Kidney Sands. ( can't do that for you here as it offends the bbc rules , sorry )
And that vast and lovely beach is where young Rosamunde would have spent some glorious days as a young 'un. And if you spot a lighthouse in any of the images, well that was something Virginia ' To The Lighthouse ' Woolf would
have seen when she was a child.

Chrissie,
I nearly didn't read your request because you have posted on what may have been meant to be a trolling thread.
Whilst I can't help you, you could always listen to Shaun Keaveny on Fridays around 9am - his regular guest Dr. Brian Cox might be able to solve the question of "How High Is The Moon?" lol
Good luck!
Could somebody please explain to me what "trolling" is. I think it may be something to do with rounding up feral children on the Isle of Sheppey.

"Trolling" nowadays is often seen as posting on a board to say everyone with that interest is stupid, such as ringing "Priest Chatback"
and saying "You're just a load of stupid priests!"
I looked "trolling" up. It appears it started as making a comment deliberately designed to provoke a reaction from new bugs (n00bs) while the experienced ones sat back and smirked behind their hands. It could also be seen as being deliberately provocative so as to cause the reaction and smirk, like a boy kicking an anthill.
Alternatively, it involves being a hairy monster waiting under a bridge for billygoats.
I can well imagine trolls waiting for billy goats under the bridge that takes you on to the Isle of Sheppey. Thanks for the info.
