Hi people, first time poster here. Does anyone know the name of the track that plays in the background when Steve Lamacq is talking. I recognise it but the title/band escapes me.

HI, I've been trying to find out too. Did you ever get any joy with this?

A search suggests:
Men's Needs by The Cribs
Everybody's Happy Nowadays - the Buzzcocks
'The Crunch' by The RAH Band
one of those?

Thanks for that. I think it's the RAH Band one which I was after, though the version which Steve Lamacq has on in the background (normally about 20mins into show) sounds like it's maybe a modern cover (?) - it's slower, more refined with more synth and swagger. Can't find any indication of a cover on searches.
Thanks for the info though, much appreciated.

Collings has just played "Can't Stop Now" by Major Lazer, which is the "reggae" theme with backing vocals and a little drum "fill"(?) you always hear on Lammo, specially during Round Table.

I still don't know what the song is - this is really bugging me. It's clearly not the Rah Band. I have emailed Steve Lamacq but didn't get a response.
I think you people should email him and make his life difficult (not hell. Not yet.) until he reveals the artist/song.

Hi there, first time poster responding - there are a number of different tunes playing behind Lammo dependent on which feature he's presenting. Why not just e-mail him and his production staff Ellie and Jack will respond. Failing that, thtere is an information section whose freefone (0800) number used to be displayed somewhere on the main ´óÏó´«Ã½ home page.
Good luck from Ian The Tank engine in Nottingham.

Would like to know this too. It's always about 20 mins into the show.
Not any of the tracks suggested so far.

It's by Earl Brutus and is a bonus track on their album "Your Majesty We Are Here". The track doesn't have a title, it's just listed as "Bonus Track".
