Not just change counting, but cashing up! Deep joy!
And beautifully done by Susan I must say.

True... but Charlotte Martin never puts a foot wrong really and she is written far more consistently than most. And neither does Kim Durham. They both really inhabit their characters. THe three episodes I have heard so far (need to catch up on Tuesday's) have been really enjoyable for making more of them and Alastair and young Daniel is so much more likeable and convincing than just about all of the youngsters.,,.
It sounds funny hearing Susan talking to herself!
Most boring part of this TAX is Dan and his part of it.
Come to think of it, Dan's boring as well. His monotonous tone just adds to it.
BUT you notice that this AmEx already has three well-known TA heavyweights far more involved in the SLs than any of the 'names' involved in the last series. Could get complicated? particularly if we get much more on the Cloive / Emma / kids angle as threatened. In the last series, we had a lot of Fallon, Kirsty, tiny bit of Kenton, Kathy and Jolene, but somehow I can't think of them as 'heavyweights' in the community.
And where is Shula? Reference after reference after reference etc, no voice? Odd.

I know. I'm really worried about her.

I think Dan is particularly monotonous - I think that is how teenagers often sound - don't want to sound too interested in case not cool. His inner voice is more animated. But I suppose he gives the "innocent's " perspective on the situation and we may see a building of tension as he tries to spread his wings while his parents will try to protect him from the real / perceived threat of Clive. Anyway I am enjoying it far more than I expected after the first lot was so feeble. Makes so much more sense to have a major plot arising from a real earlier event and which is going to affect some people more than others.
