Dan and Erin is a boreathon as just friends with Dan lusting over her, but she is starting to sound very dubious as a character on her own.
She turns up on her own ..... Shula is encouraging her to spend time alone with Alistair ....
PLEASE let her start trying it on with Alistair! That'd certainly open Dan's eyes to what she's like ..... and be a reason for existing at all!
Shula's reaction would be fun as well, specially as she's already probably planning the wedding, the way she talks about them!
And the way Erin talks, she certainly doesn't give the impression she has a soft spot for Dan, the way we know he is obviously VERY keen on her. It really does sound - to me anyway - that she really IS just using his brains for her coursework.
Least thinking of it like that makes it more interesting to listen to than Dan's constant lusting thoughts about her.
girls are always up to something
Have you noticed Erin does not (iirc) have an Inner Voice? So we don't know what she's up to...
... perhaps it was removed by Mrs Coulter (ie Elizabeth). Perhaps that's why she was so sick.

Yes, that's another reason to view her with suspicion!
But it's a good point. We know what everyone else is thinking, except her. Must be a reason for that .... I suppose.
maybe she's thinking about Alistair!
She is now!

Erin makes all the running - it is always she who is ringing and suggesting that they meet up, and she pretty much invited herself to his house - but I don't really see much sign that she is interested in Daniel for himself. I may be wrong, though. I think that she may be interested in academic help from Daniel, and/or in some kind of vet. work experience, but I think that basically she enjoys having power over the opposite sex. She admitted that she knows that she has it.

PS I suppose that if we heard her thoughts too, we would know what the story was.
Yes, eg "Hmmm, he's quite fit for an old bloke, impressive gadget too". It does seem odd that some characters do and some do not.

Ali (to Erin arriving in her motor): Hey, great ride!
Erin: You should be so lucky, Daddio! I'm not that kind of girl.
I very much fear that Shulugh will catch Ali in the act of showing Erin his equipment, with Terry and June style "Wah-wah!" sound effect.

Surely all she's thinking about is cute piglets?
I'm sure Pip, with her real lambing experience, would have an opinion on Erin.

So is Ralph right about Erin and is Daniel riding for a fall (as I said on another thread)? I used the word controlling about Erin in another post ... That's how she seems to me. She never takes no for an answer, even when we first met her and Daniel told her that he was doing the geography project with someone else. She went and interfered.
Today, we had Dan's 'inner voice' almost every other phrase in some scenes. It's TOO MUCH. Made a nonsense of the script, frankly.
I don't like Erin at all. She was particularly annoying in today's episode when she started taking over the conversation between Alastair and the farmer. Mark my words - no good will come of this!

It's very curious - as has been mentioned - that Erin is literally the only 'main' character in this TAX where we have not heard any thoughts as to what's in her head.
There must be a reason for that. Wonder what it is.

We're not hearing Matt's thoughts either

True. But Matt is Matt. You know generally what he's like, and as Clive thinks he's getting the better of him, he'll probably come out top in the end, but Erin is only around for this programme, so we know nothing about her - including her thoughts!
