between AmEx and TA. As a listener to both, this displeases me.

Hi Bette, I don't listen to AmEx because I tried the first series and didn't like it and maybe 15ish minutes of Archers per day is enough for me, but I usually have a look at the synopsis in here just to make sure I am not missing anything important. I am neither pro nor anti, maybe just a bit set in my ways.
No synopsis today and very few postings which would suggest that not many mustardlanders are listening, or if they are they are not bothering to post. I know that quite a few people are enjoying it but I wonder whether it has been a success. Will there be a series 3?

I'm enjoying AmEx, and certainly think that the "inner voice" works brilliantly with Clive - but is not so effective with Daniel.
Only two series of AmEx were commissioned to start with, and Keri has noted elsewhere that budgetary constraints mean that no third series has yet been commissioned.
Given that AmEx1 was quite poor & too yoof oriented, but that AmEx2 is more balanced, better written & produced, I think it would be a shame for there not to be an AmEx3.
Bette - what time dissonance?

Having written the synopsis last week when JPBS was away, Pahnda, I can say it does takequite a bit of time, so to expect it to appear within a couple of hours of the broadcast is perhaps a bit unlikely. JPBS does a great job & I was more than happy to hand back to her (him?).
I think most people get AmEx via Listen Again - for me it's often the next morning.

#3 Mustafa - sorry, i must be getting confused. I thought that Susan had /already/ spoken to Kylie (on AmEx).
#4 Ermitrude - I've just discovered the thread for the synopses. Very Useful.

Bette - I haven't replayed the AmEx episodes, but while in TA Susan spoke with Sharon on Sunday, and with Kylie yesterday, I don't recall that she has spoken with either of them in AmEx.

Yes, you are right. Having read the synopses, it was clearly I who was confusing TA and AmEx.

Please god(s) no - relegating the awful Phoebe & her vile mother to SA & the status of "silents" has done TA a power of good that could only be matched were they to send Ruth & Pip there as well, bop the two of them on the heads and somehow induce such depths of amnesia that they never find their way back to Blighty again, let along Borsetshire!
