Lots of Matt, and I just /knew/ he would see off Clive. I loved the final twist with Bernie. I am a very happy bunny now.
Me too. Well done, Matt!

I thought the Matt/Clive plot line started very well but it's gone down hill badly over the last few episodes. Matt's double crossing of Clive and his reasons for doing so were not credible at all imo.
There are still ten episodes to go. This just about sounds the end of Clive. Does that mean we're going to get fifteen minutes of the Dan, Erin, Alastair triangle each episode? Please no.
Maybe they;re going to give us a new plot line with Amy and Alice.
I agree too! As Homer Simpson might say "In your face, Clive!"

I think that looks likely - Clive to try something on Alice?
And what has Amy's great aunt got to do with it all? Did Clive hear her say they'd all be away for the funeral? Didn't sound like it.
I /do/ think that Clive has been seen off well-and-proper this time (takes one to know one).

He is a thief (from Bernie's employers) and an insurance fraudster, increasing all our premiums.
Is that REALLY your sort of man?
And I suspect he pays backsheesh to government servants!
How are things where you are? Interesting times?
WEGGIE - I am hopeful that we will move to Joburg where Feeble is getting all Erin like with the locals.

I just love a man who looks after his own and wins. I think I might have been a gansters moll in a previous life
You know it is a Chinese curse 'may you live in interesting times' lol Fortunately I live in Luxor and it is over 400 miles from any major problems

Ìý I don't think I'd have bothered listening to this second series if Matt hadn't been in it from the start. Unlike a lot of the other characters Matt livens up every scene he's in and the SWs certainly did him justice with the Clive/Bernie storyline. Brilliant.
All fine so far, if a bit unlikely, but Matt may be congratulating himself too soon.
Clive does not appear to have changed his ways during his stretch and his anger at being turned over by Matt will be mighty. He will want revenge and a sneak attack on the Dower House or Lil cannot be ruled out. This SL may still have legs!
Clive's behaviour towards Alice and Amy leads me to think that the story may be heading in that direction.
I can't see one of the main characters in this series being written out quite so soon.
