So the producer of TEX thinks that the story covers some of our favorite and best loved characters?

    Snork!

We're talking Kate and Pheobe, to of the most unpleasant characters that have come out of Ambridge.

Proves once again how much we, the listeners, are thought of by the production team, because if they did read ML they would know just how we feel about this pair.

I like Kate - and Pebble seems fun too.

With a name like that I thought there would have been at least a passing reference to "The Railway Game"¹

But the vast majority of listeners don't post on this messageboard, so I don't really see how you can state as fact how "the listeners" feel about Kate and Phoebe.

Surely love can mean 'love to hate' in this context? I for one have been intrigued for a while what the reality of life in SA would be. It seems the perfect choice for Ambex, seeing as the plot would be unlikely to be covered in great detail in the main programme.

I personally don't know what Phoebe has done to offend you - I have always quite liked her, and it can't be easy for her to be pulled several ways by her biological mother - I believe there were lots of people on this website suggesting that "seeing what's happening inSA with Kate and Phoebe" would be a good idea for a series of AmEx - I think so too, though I'm not entirely sure on Lucas being recast as a selfish man who doens't take Kate's feelings into consideration, when on the Archers he always seemed to be the reasonable half of that pairing.
