Although it annoys me that she didn't pronounce it correctly. It's not pronounced "cack." It's pronounced "Kuk"
She's English. She is unlikely to pronounce all of the South African words correctly.

and Phoebe has lived there all of 10 months while Kate has lived there x years and still sounds like she's been no further than Borchester
(I originally typed 'white Kate' - goodness knows what kind of subconcious thought was behind that typo)

as has been said many many times in here - some people pick up accents quickly whilst others retain their original one till the day they die. And as Feebs is young she is more likely to adopt the speech of her peers.
