Why would Mel tell known psycho Lance that she had aborted his baby not Kenton's? The whole episode was ludicrous and the actors weren't much better. Hoping for a shark to bring this to a conclusion....

Well, I suspect that either Lance won't survive his ducking - hopefully Kenton will hold him under for the requisite time or he'll be so grateful to his ex business partner and forget all about the blackmail, stalking etc and will never be seen again.
Everyone else will make up and become all lovey-dovey and K&J will fly back to Ambridge like a honeymoon couple and all will live happily ever after.

Or Kenton will drown thus making Jolene twice departnered in the Antipodes!

Are we to assume that she was shagging both of them when she got pregnant? And if so, how did she know whose baby it was?

Yes it had a very 'detective gets all the suspects together in the living room and reveal all' about it. Incredibly unconvincing. Has had it's good points this Amex but this episode was a true nadir.
I guess Amex will always suffer from the fact that the plot isn't really allowed to impinge on TA too much so loose ends have to tie up neatly. I guess Kenton had to go in the water to try to save Lance otherwise they'd probably be facing a lengthy police enquiry in NZ and it'd all have to be discussed in Ambridge (causing massive consternation on other boards here). Kenton will be OK, the jury's out on loopy Lance, but who really cares? Would Jolene really have said 'Let him drown' though?
It's all been a dream. Kenton is just about to come out of the shower in the Bull.
Presumably she was trying to straighten things out between Kenton, Jolene and herself. Jolene has been increasingly alienated from Kenton who has not defended himself and accepted the role of totally guilty party. This is partly Mel's fault and is the main reason they are all stuck on the yacht with the sociopath. Maybe she hadn't picked up that Jolene was aware Lance was dangerous and only humouring him.

Yes, it was rubbish wasn't it. I download the podcast first thing in the morning at about 6.30am (I live in Tokyo) and listen to TA and AMEX in a half doze. Normally it's a great way to start the day by recent episodes of AMEX have had me groaning with irritation and disappointment.
Also I doubt Lance will drown as this would be such a huge thing that it would definitely have to be incorporated in the main TA which is something that the ´óÏó´«Ã½ have been reluctant to do as I understand it.

Why? I don't see of what interest it would be in Ambridge. Kenton drowning on the other hand... But in that case it would be reported in TA. As a Spoilers reader I'm not sure that there is a clue to that though.
I guess if Lance were to drown there'd have to be an inquest or inquiry or something, which Kenton and Jolene would have to attend. That would take some explaining in TA. I think everyone will be fine and Lance will disappear with his tail between his legs.
However, I am now totally confused about the abortion. If it was lance's baby why did Mel tell Jolene that Kenton had forced her to have an abortion? have i missed something? I admit I wasn't paying that much attention during that episode so it's quite possible.

Why indeed? I'm afraid there was no sense of them being at sea, other than metaphorically.

Man fell overboard on their yachting trip. I don't see that it would be that big a deal.

Indeed a very puzzling little detour in the story line.
‘Everyone else will make up and become all lovey-dovey and K&J will fly back to Ambridge like a honeymoon couple and all will live happily ever after’.
Oh I do hope so….
‘Hoping for a shark to bring this to a conclusion....’
Oh I do hope not….
‘If it was lance's baby why did Mel tell Jolene that Kenton had forced her to have an abortion?’
Because Kenton, thinking it was his, did put pressure on her to terminate the pregnancy and she seems to have told Jolene this (omitting the bit about her own doubts re not being sure who the father was) to put a spoke in the briskly spinning wheel of the Kenton/Jolene 'lurve' fest.
Mel was obviously in love with Kenton back then and I reckon the flame still flickers despite all the backbiting.

Ehh? Didn't notice it, I thought since they arrived Jolene was feeling Kenton wasn't paying much attention to her?

As far as I could tell she had a one night stand with Lance.
