  鈥淚 see three years of Auror training have not been wasted on you, Potter. As I assume you haven鈥檛 read the case file-鈥�
  
  鈥淚鈥檝e only just been given it-鈥�
  
  鈥�-I鈥檝e prepared this short resume鈥�. A large folder leaped from the desk and hovered impatiently in front of Harry. Still slightly shaken, he sat down and began to read. After a few minutes, he looked up.
  
  鈥淒umbledore wasn鈥檛, er鈥�.鈥�
  
  鈥淐ompletely, ah, forthcoming about Ambridge when he sent us there? No, Potter, he was not. For years, the Dark activity in the region of this village has meant that the Ministry has been embedding Unspeakables amongst the local population 鈥� Unspeakables who have, to a wizard or witch, all eventually either disappeared or met an unfortunate ending鈥�.
  
  Harry looked down at the file. 鈥淒emeter Harpurhey?鈥�
  
  鈥淎 highly talented goat Animagus. Her fate remains unknown to this day. Worst, we have recently lost one of our best agents. Under the guise of a somewhat doltish, but amazingly successful 鈥� a bit like you, in fact, Potter- local landowner, he was able to keep an eye on Ambridge for years. Then for no apparent reason whatsoever he decided to climb on the roof of his house on an icy night, accompanied only by the village idiot, in order to carry out a job which could have been done safely by a Muggle workman the next day. I need hardly tell you what happened next 鈥� he didn鈥檛 even cast a Cushioning Charm鈥�.
  
  鈥淎n Unspeakable succumbing to the Imperius Curse? That must have shaken the Department of Mysteries to the core!鈥�
  
  鈥淲e are made of stronger stuff, Potter. But there is still more to come. Have you ever read 'The Boys from Brazil?鈥�

  I'm loving this, Waslantana. It combines two of my favourite pieces of fiction! Hope you're able to complete it by midday tomorrow, or will you continue at Peet's?

  Who he?
  
  Was he, like me, born in Harpurhey Maternity Hospital (Beeh Mount) ?
